#OMMAGlobal - great question to ask "what old advertising tactic has died already or would you kill off in 2012 in your own company?"

drag2share: The Google-Powered, Digital Dead Sea Scrolls are a History Buff's Dream [Google]
Source: http://gizmodo.com/5843790/the-google-powered-digital-dead-sea-scrolls-are-a-history-buffs-dream
Five of the Dead Sea Scrolls—the world's oldest biblical documents—are now viewable online as searchable, high-resolution images thanks to Google. Talk about some priceless Google Docs.
The scrolls are available in the Israel Museum's online collections just a year after the project started. Developed in partnership with Google the website allows users to dive into the 2,000 year old documents—literally. The images are 1,200 megapixes, which is huge enough to zoom until you can see minuscule cracks in the parchment. Thanks to Google's technology, the scrolls are also easy to navigate. The images load crazy fast and navigate with a smooth slider. Phrases from the documents even turn up in Google search results that will take you to directly to your favorite passage from the early-Christian era. Rejoice! [The Telegraph]

drag2share: Leaked AMD roadmap reveals Q1 2012 launch for Trinity APU
Source: http://www.engadget.com/2011/09/26/leaked-amd-roadmap-reveals-q1-2012-launch-for-trinity-apu/
Some leaked AMD presentation slides are doing the rounds and they look just about arcane enough to be genuine. Assuming they are, and bearing in mind that they're already a few months old, then the key news is that the Trinity APU could swing into full production as early as January. This successor to the immensely successful Llano range of mobile APUs will be based on "Piledriver" CPU cores, which themselves are variants of the Bulldozer cores in AMD's imminent desktop refresh. Suddenly that Llano-powered laptop you've been ogling doesn't look like such an obvious purchase. Check out the gallery below for more slides, including intriguing references to post-Trinity "Kaveri" and "Kabini" APUs planned for 2013.[Thanks, Alexandre]
